TIRTA GANGGA WATER GARDEN
Iconic for its maze of stepping stones across koi-filled ponds. It features an eleven-tiered lotus-shaped fountain and natural spring pools where you can swim for a small extra fee. Families (feeding the giant koi) and those wanting to experience holy spring water.
Cost: IDR 90,000 for international visitors; IDR 45,000 for domestic
LOTUS LAGOON CANDIDASA
A large, public landmark in the center of Candidasa town filled with hundreds of pink and white lotus flowers. A quick, free stop for photos, especially beautiful in the early morning when the lotuses are fully in bloom.
GEMBLENG WATERFALL
This is the most famous "hidden gem" in the area, known for its natural infinity pools. Visitors can soak in rock pools on different levels with a stunning view of the valley and rice terraces.

YEH LABUH WATERFALL
A true off-the-beaten-path destination near Selumbung Village. It features a tall main drop and smaller intermediate falls used by locals for swimming.
TUKAD CEPUNG WATERFALL
Though a bit further away, it is one of Bali’s most unique spots, where the waterfall is located inside a cave. Sunlight filtering through the cave roof creates a dramatic, magical atmosphere.
NOTE:
Entry Fees: Many of these falls, such as Gembleng and Jagasatru, operate on a donation basis (IDR 20,000 – 50,000 is standard)
Footwear: Wear sturdy sandals or water shoes. Paths to Yeh Labuh and Jagasatru can be slippery or involve walking through shallow water.
Timing: Visit Gembleng before 9:00 AM if you want to take photos in the infinity pools without waiting in a queue.
Transport: It is highly recommended to hire a private driver for the day to combine one waterfall visit with nearby sites like Tirta Gangga or Sidemen Valley.
BESAKIH TEMPLE
Known as the “Mother Temple” of Bali, this is the largest, holiest, and most significant Hindu temple complex on the island. Perched 1,000 meters high on the slopes of Mount Agung, it comprises 23 separate but related temples, with Pura Penataran Agung as its grand central sanctuary.
Entrance Fees: IDR 150,000 for international adults and IDR 80,000 for domestic visitors.
LEMPUYANG TEMPLE
One of Bali’s oldest and most iconic temples, famous for the world-famous “Gate of Heaven”. On clear days, the gate perfectly frames Mount Agung in the distance. Visitors must take a shuttle from the parking area to reach the temple entrance, highly regarded temple, known as one of the “six sanctuaries of the world”.
GOA LAWAH TEMPLE
“Bat Cave Temple,” is one of Bali’s most important directional temples (Sad Kahyangan), located on the coastal border of the Klungkung and Karangasem regencies. Built in the 11th century, it is centered around a large natural cave dwelling thousands of fruit bats.
SANG HYANG AMBU TEMPLE
Known for its majestic grand gate (Candi Bentar) that serves as a symbolic entrance to the Bugbug customary area. It is a popular photography spot due to its architectural beauty and the lush, hilly backdrop. It also serves as a starting point for trekking to Gumang Hill.
NOTE FOR 2026:
All temples require visitors to wear a sarong and sash. These are usually available for rent at the entrance for approximately IDR 5,000 to 10,000 if you do not have your own.
